Elena A. Ulrikh

Dr. Ulrikh graduated from Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy in 1997. Then she completed her clinical residency in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2002, she defended her thesis (candidate of medical sciences) entitled “Clinical and morphological characteristics of uterine serous papillary carcinoma”. Since graduation, she has been working at the Department of Pediatric Gynecology and Female Reproduction, Faculty of Postgraduate and Additional Professional Education (currently as a Professor). She is also working in N.N. Petrov National Medical Research Oncology Center. In 2008, she defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Quality of life of patients with uterine cancer after radical treatment”. Dr. Ulrikh is an expert in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, as well as gynecological oncology. She specializes in preserving and restoring fertility in patients with cancer. She is experienced in all currently available treatment methods, including video-assisted endoscopic surgery. She has participated in many regional, Russian, and international congresses, conferences, and symposiums as a speaker. Dr. Ulrikh is a member of the Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologists of Saint Petersburg, board member of the Russian Association of Gynecological Oncologists, and European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO). She has coauthored more than 100 articles published in Russian and foreign journals.
